December 14, 2007 – Pending certification by the Massachusetts Department of Revenue, the City of Springfield has released FY 2008 Tax Valuations for all taxable real estate and personal property. Proposed valuations for all real estate and personal property are currently available for public view at all public libraries throughout the City and also on the City's website at www.springfieldcityhall.com (note: as of 12/26/07 this file is no longer available). The information is also available at the Assessors Office at City Hall, 36 Court St.

The City Council is scheduled to hold a public hearing on the subject of proposed tax valuations on Wednesday, December 19 at 10 a.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall.
