8th Annual Daniel O’Sullivan Award to Recognize Veterans
November 21, 2008 - Mayor Domenic J. Sarno and the Springfield Veterans Service Department will announce the recipients of the 8th annual Daniel O’Sullivan Award on Monday, November 24, 2008, at noon. This year will be the first time that dual recipients will be receiving the award.
The annual Daniel O’Sullivan award presentation honors and recognizes Armed Forces Veterans who are employed by the City of Springfield. Daniel O’Sullivan was the former Director of Code Enforcement for the City of Springfield and is remembered for his expertise, devotion to his job, and kind manor by all who knew him.
A ceremony horning the award recipients will take place on Monday, November 24, 2008, at noon, in room 220 at Springfield City Hall. The public is invited to attend.
